Tramline Stage, The Summit Inn, Howth,
Sunday August 11th at 5.30pm - FREE
The Mary Stokes Band are Ireland’s foremost Blues Band, over 25 years established international reputation, performing with Blues Greats - John Lee Hooker, BB King, Taj Mahal, Bo Diddley, Fats Domino, Buddy Guy & many more. Partners Mary Stokes and Brian Palm have led The Mary Stokes Band, performing at Blues Festivals & venues across Ireland, USA and Europe. The Mary Stokes Band includes the sensational guitar player Sarah Michelle, with powerhouse rhythm section Zamo Riffman on Bass and Jay Oglesby on Drums.

This highly anticipated live show is one of a very select number of gigs that The Mary Stokes Band are performing during 2023, following the extraordinary international
success of the band’s two recently released albums; the award winning ‘Comin’ Home’ in 2021 and ‘Let ‘Er Roll!’ in February of this year. The Mary Stokes Band have just released an album recorded live with a five piece brass section ‘The Mourning Horns’. For Howth Mary will be featuring her stripped back, Chicago style Blues band sound delivered with her usual power and authority. A festival highlight not to be missed!
