Neon River is Ireland's newest 4-piece American Country band on a mission to turn bars across Ireland into the best damn honky tonks this side of Nashville. They bring a live and loud experience inspired by the bands on Nashville's Broadway strip, delivering some of the greatest tunes American Country has to offer. So if you like twanging telecaster guitars and to boot scootin' boogie, Neon River are the fellas you've been waiting for. Neon River formed in April 2022.

Wicklow natives Ryan Mcternan (Tinahely) and Danny Beton (Baltinglass) met on Facebook after Ryan posted an ad looking for outlaws to start a hard-hitting American Country band. The two came together over a love for guitar and American Country music. Both lads have been playing guitar for close to 20 years each and have been musicians for most of their lives, playing across different genres and bands. Over the following months, Ryan and Danny rehearsed every week together, building their shared vision of something they felt the Irish Country scene was missing: a fast-paced, electrifying American Country act. No backing tracks, no gimmicks, just great country music.
